Reading Day June 19

To remind people about the value of reading books even in an era dominated by the internet, National Reading Day is observed on 19 June this year. The day marks the death anniversary of PN Panicker, who is famously known as the 'Father of the Library Movement' in Kerala. TSHSS Punlaur also celebrated readers day. School conducted special assembly. Respected headmistress Mrs. Indu  lead the assembly. 10 th class students arrange a programmed to recall the memory of  Late Mr. P.N Panikkar and the importance of reading. Kunjunni kavithakal were reads by a student which was do interesting.
