Weekly reflection 1 - (June 12 to June 16)

As part of the B.Ed curriculum, our fourth semester teaching practicum begins on June 12, 2023, a Monday when we are assigned to the same school as the previous session. I usually arrived before 9:20 a.m. and was assigned class 8-D for the teaching practice. Four lesson plans were developed for the introduction of the Equal Triangle chapter. One of them is an activity model.I prepared my first lesson plan as concept attainment model. Models of triangles, diagrams with concepts, geometric boxes, and Normal teaching aids are used as teaching tools. I had the opportunity to improve my micro teaching skills. Class management is a bit difficult, but I accept its beauty. I think I should change the normal teaching style in the classroom because not all students liked math. So I divided them into groups and encouraged group discussions to find principles. All the students actively participated and took part in lunch. All in all, this week was quite good and interesting.
