INNOVATION WORK

 Innovation can be defined simply as a “new idea, device or method “. Innovation work helps a teacher to teach a lesson easily. The role of innovative work is very important in mathematics teaching.

In teaching learning process, the role of innovative work is one of the effective methods for difficult lesson easily. 

I took the chapter "polygons" For the innovative work and madeva model of album of polygons. 
The present material is entitled as " Hide and seek polygon album"

Colour paper, card board, gilter paper, glue, chart, marker, scissors etc were used as the teaching materials. It contain who al I section, images of polygons and non polygons etc. 

I already divide the whole class in to 4 groups. All four groups well played. All of them got an opportunity to participate it. After that the teacher gave the model to each group for detailed observation. All are interestingly watched and ask so many questions relating this chapter. The teacher cleared all doubts.

This innovative work made a positive impact on students. They were actively participated and interacted in the class. The students were able to tell the features of polygons quickly, and they were very excited to say the answer of questions like name of 100 sided polygon, sum of interior angles and sum of outer angles of polygons etc..

I got more response from them than a normal classroom teaching. The were able to understand the concept by avoiding tote learning.

Innovative work helps the teacher to teach something effectively. Here we can increase the interest of the pupils and also can avoid rote learning by this method. This type of innovation method and creating techniques has important role in mathematics teaching and learning. By this we can gain interest of pupil and also they can learn mathematics very interestingly
